Ramananda Raya then saw Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, and saw that He was as brilliant as a hundred suns. He was covered by a saffron garment and He was large in body and very strongly built. He had eyes like lotus petals. Ramananda Raya went to Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and offered prostrated obeisances. The Lord asked Ramananda Raya to arise and chant the holy name of Krishna. Then He embraced Ramananda Raya very firmly.
