| FILE INFO | | Caption | When Krishna began to play His flute, the gopis all over Vrndavana were enchanted. Their attraction to the vibration of the flute was increased a thousand times due to the full moon, the red horizon and the cool atmosphere. Upon hearing the flute, they immediately left their engagements and began to run very swiftly toward the sound. Some of them had been engaged in milking cows, or had just put milk in a pan to boil; some were breast feeding their babies and some had been distributing food to their family members. But all of the gopis immediately left upon hearing the flute, not caring for their engagements. They wanted to decorate their faces with cosmetics before going to Krishna, but they could not finish their decorations or put their dresses on the right way. Out of their anxiety to meet Krishna immediately, some of them left their cosmetic decorations haphazardly finished, and some of them put the lower part of their dresses on the upper part of their bodies, and the upper part on the lower part.
