FILE INFO | Caption | Durvasa Muni could not escape the Sudarshana chakra and so he ran to Lord Brahma to beg him for protection. Lord Brahma replied that he could not protect him from the chakra sent by the Supreme Lord; and so Durvasa Muni tried to take shelter of Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva told him that he also could do nothing against the weapon of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Durvasa Muni finally went to Vaikuntha and fell at the feet of Lord Narayana, begging Him for protection. Lord Narayana said that He was completely under the control of His devotees, who are completely attached to Him in the core of their hearts and are always satisfied to be engaged in loving service to Him. He instructed Durvasa Muni to go to Maharaja Ambarisha immediately and beg forgiveness for his offense to him. If he could satisfy Maharaja Ambarisha, then he would be spared. -Summarized from Srimad Bhagavatam 9.4.52-71 | Headline | Durvasa Muni Runs to Lord Narayana | Copyright Notice | © Copyright The Bhaktivedanta Book Trust International, Inc.
