Caption | The elephant Gajendra took a lotus flower in his trunk and offered prayers to the Lord. Gajendra was a great devotee in his previous birth and was therefore able to chant the Lord's holy name. The Personality of Godhead came at once riding on Garuda, saved him from the crocodile, and delivered him.
