They engage in horrible works meant to destroy the world. They are always trying to invent something for sense gratification and these inventions are considered to be the advancement of civilization. Actually the result is that people become more violent and cruel due to their greed for sense gratification. Ultimately these demoniac persons will invent something that will cause the destruction of all. Indirectly, this verse in the Bhagavad-gita predicts the invention of nuclear weapons which are created solely for the purpose of destruction. Therefore, due to godlessness, such destructive inventions are made which are not for peace and prosperity of the world.
