FILE INFO | Caption | The demon Aghasura opened his mouth wide, desiring to swallow all the cowherd boys, especially Krishna and Balarama. Aghasura's lower lip was on the ground and his upper lip touched the clouds. His open jaws appeared to be a big mountain cave. The cowherd boys, talking amongst themselves, at first thought the demon was a statue; but after examining it they thought it looked like a big serpent who had opened its mouth just to swallow them. However, they thought even if the demon could swallow them all at once, surely Krishna would protect them. The cowherd boys looked at the beautiful lotus-lile face of Krishna and cheerfully entered the mouth of Aghasura. | Headline | The Cowherd Boys Enter Aghasura | Copyright Notice | © Copyright The Bhaktivedanta Book Trust International, Inc.
