FILE INFO | Caption | While Priyavrata was ruling over the entire universe, he became dissatisfied with the sun, since it gave light only in one half of the universe due to its rotation. Therefore he decided to bring daylight to the part of the universe that was dark. Priyavrata rode on a brilliant chariot and followed the orbit of the sun, fulfilling his desire. In this way there was no night in the universe. Priyavrata Maharaja could do such wonderful things due to the power he received by worshiping the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Sri Krishna.
